Established in 2004, Woodend Nurseries are a family run, traditional horticultural nursery in the heart of Yorkshire. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service, offering our customers help and advice to make sure they get as much enjoyment out of their outdoor spaces as possible.
Our aim is to grow quality, healthy plants and sell them at competitive prices.
Back in 2002, we owned an acre of land in the Great Preston area that didn’t serve a purpose. Having worked hard for others for years, we decided to put the land to good use and build our own horticultural business that would serve the local community and hopefully support our family for many years to come.
As keen gardeners, we decided to gain some qualifications to back up our expertise and help us build even more knowledge to make our new business as successful as possible.
Two years later, we opened the doors of Woodend Nurseries on that same plot of land and we have continued to expand and develop so we can provide a wide range of garden related goods and services.
Our wide range of stock includes pots and planters, flowers, shrubs, bulbs and seeds, compost and topsoil, bird feed and feeders, logs, coal and season goods, including Christmas Trees and decorations in December, along with much more.
In the past four years, we have doubled the size of our site to be able to accommodation the additional demand as our business has grown from strength to strength.
We have a friendly and knowledgeable team dedicated to making sure our customers receive excellent advice and are satisfied each time they shop with us. You can read more about our team below.
