July’s Tip of the Month

Hopefully by now your roses, if you have any (and shame on you if you don’t!), will be blooming. They will however need a dead-head in order to prolong flowering.

At this time of year weeds thrive especially in such warm wet weather, so the garden will need a good tidy and paths a spray. Be careful around pets and children if you are spraying. Read the label carefully.

Your tomatoes will benefit from a feed and so will your hanging baskets. Once a week should suffice. If your hanging baskets are looking very full they will still need a feed. The plants may be getting root-bound and will therefore need all of the help they can get to prolong flowering until the end of the summer. Use either a multi-purpose feed or a tomato feed is also fine.

We have all of the aforementioned products on sale at great prices!
